Nature is such a wonderful teacher. But, as with school, you have to pay attention.
As I've mentioned on more than one occasion, I LOVE the night sky. I feel so much peace sitting outside under the moon and stars. Nothing relaxes me more.
Several weeks ago I was sitting outside by a fire enjoying the beautiful night sky. The next morning as I was leaving for work, I noticed the moon in the morning sky. It was still beautiful, but fading...giving way to the sun. What occurred to me is that the moon had it's time to shine. Now it was moving to the background to give the sun IT'S time to shine. It's still there - just not the center of attention.
We can learn so much from nature. We don't have to shine all the time. I don't think we're supposed to shine ALL the time. We have to allow others to shine too. And just as the sun helps the moon to shine by reflecting it's light off of the moon, we should try to help others shine. We are not diminished while others are shining. Our turn will come again in right time.
Love, Paula
